With its wide frame leg design, the Dutch Hill Heavy-Duty Surveyor’s Tripod is built for superior strength and stability. It has pointed feet with replaceable stainless steel points that dig into the ground providing solid foundation for a wide variety of instruments. It features a flat, square aluminum head with surface area of 25 square inches and offers standard 5/8-11 screw threading. This heavy-duty surveyor’s tripod by Dutch Hill is durable with its fiberglass construction that resists shrinking or swelling due to temperature change. Its metal components are mechanically fastened to allow easy replacement ensuring long-lasting service. Equipped with quick release clamp locking mechanism, it permits smooth height adjustment up to 72 inches and retracts to 44 inches for convenient storage and transport.
