Description
These are Ronald McDonald House Keepsakes collected by a staffer. These hospitality houses are near treatment centers/rehab centers/hospitals around the world and provide home like settings/apartments for the patient and for his/her family. The great support and comfort that these places have provided have been universally acknowledged.
These items date back to 1996-1997, and are:
1. A Heart and Home Cookie cutter set with recipe,
2. A Ronald McDonald House Pull-Tab collection House, and
3. A Hand-made pull tab brooch/pin.
The Cookie Cutter was provided for attendees at a Regional Ronald McDonald House Conference in Albany, NY. It included a sugar cookie recipe with a vanilla-lemon glaze. And the "House" was a collection bin for pull tabs, to be recycled for donation purposes for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The pin has 5 decorative beads with tab trim detail, made by a volunteer, likely worn during Ronald McDonald House fundraising events. It has a simple safety pin closure.
The Cookie Cutter set is unused without rust nor deformations, but is aged, with a apparent condensation/water mark line notable. It is included full of pull tabs. The pin shows no wear nor abrasions.
The three promotional lapel pins have a pin and squeeze ring friction closure, and are in these plastic slip packets that have been stapled; they are not hermetically sealed. Two packets have been stamped "Made in Taiwan" and "R.O.C."
1.The RMH of Albany Pin, with a child's spelling and rainbow, has no outside stamp, has staple holes but no staple, and is sealed at both ends of packet.
2.Another RMH Pin states: "The House That Love Built Russ Event 1997".
3.And the last RMH Pin states: "Ronald McDonald House Charities 25 Years".
These items are excellent additions for RMH and McDonald's collections, they can be fun to wear at RMH events. Enjoy.
In original unopened packets, distributed from 1996-1998.
The pins were tokens available at various Ronald McDonald Houses (RMH) or given at RMH conferences; either as flare for employees/volunteers, or support by those who stayed at, or donated to, the RMH.
A box full of fun Ronald McDonald House mementos especially for those who have volunteered for or needed to stay at a Ronald McDonald House..
