Vintage puzzles depicting points of interest at the New York World’s Fair 1964-65.
Four puzzles on two boards--both sides of each board are printed with an image.
Depicted are the:
-Unisphere, standing 140 feet high and made entirely of steel donated by United States Steel carrying the theme of the fair, “Peace Through Understanding;
-The AMF Monorail, the first monorail of the American Machine and Foundry Co., featuring seven trains, each holding 80 passengers, traveling on parallel loops;
-The New York State Exhibit, three main structures, including a “Tent of Tomorrow” and three observation towers; and
-Solar Fountain, one of several such structures, shooting water high in the air.
Each puzzle board measures 6” x 5 5/8”. Included is a paper guide explaining each site as well as the General Foods Giant Archways, offering visitors news and information.
All items have been stored in a smoke-free environment.
